Roanoke, VA – July 11, 2025 –Veracity is pleased to announce Connetquot Central School District (CCSD) has selected Veracity’s Technology Management System to centralize edtech management, strengthen transparency, and streamline processes. CCSD serves approximately 5,400 students across ten schools (K-12) in Bohemia, New York.
When CCSD’s Technology Director, Elizabeth Weis, attended the 25th Annual ASSET Technology Conference, she and team were experiencing fragmented systems, duplicate software requests, no streamlined workflows for reviewing and approving new software applications, communication gaps between instructional and technology teams regarding technology tools and approvals, and a lack of transparency and public visibility (especially around New York State Ed Law 2D). Weis attended an informative session led by Hauppauge Public Schools’ Director of CTE Digital Learning and Innovation Leslie Brophy, which highlighted similar challenges Brophy and team had overcome with Veracity’s Technology Management System (TMS). Weis turned to Veracity seeking centralized technology management, product directory/transparency, public-facing features, contract management capabilities, and workflow automation.
“We chose Veracity’s TMS to solve widespread inefficiencies including how we were managing contracts, software requests, and compliance documentation. We lacked a centralized way to track edtech tools, prevent duplicate software requests, and ensure transparency across departments. Veracity’s TMS stood out for its ability to centralize contract management, streamline application approvals through automated workflows, and improve visibility between instructional and technology teams,” Weis explained. “The district also valued the system’s public-facing features, including the ability for families to view approved tech tools and Ed Law 2D compliance documentation.”
“The Connetquot Team was utilizing many disparate systems including a single-sign-on solution, e-signature solution (without a searchable database), and a ticketing system – combined with manual processes – that were creating disconnect and inefficiencies. We’re eager to help another district from the island build a cohesive strategy and system for managing edtech,” added Veracity CRO Amy Dornton.
CCSD joins a rapidly expanding number of NY educational institutions turning to Veracity for scalable, effective solutions for common K-12 challenges. The team plans to launch its edtech catalog and a series of new procedures that will be initiated and governed in Veracity’s TMS for the ’25-26 school year and beyond – driving greater compliance and collaboration while maximizing investments and resources.
