Roanoke, VA – July 10, 2025 — Veracity, a leading provider of technology management solutions for educational institutions, is proud to announce its partnership with Torrance Unified School District (TUSD), located in the heart of the South Bay in southwestern Los Angeles County. Serving over 22,000 students across 32 schools, TUSD’s Educational Technology & Information Services (ETIS) Department selected Veracity’s Technology Management System (TMS) to support its mission of delivering innovative, reliable, and future-forward technology solutions that enhance teaching, learning, and district-wide operations.
The decision to adopt Veracity’s platform was led by Gil Mara, Chief Educational Technology & Information Services Officer, as he prepared for retirement. Mara sought to ensure that a centralized, efficient system would be in place for the district’s evolving technology needs after his departure.
“As I approached retirement, one of my top priorities was ensuring the ETIS team had the right tools and processes in place to scale technology use responsibly and efficiently,” said Mara. “Veracity’s TMS brings the visibility and structure needed to track software applications, support procurement compliance, and ultimately empower our schools to make informed technology decisions.”
The TMS implementation will now be overseen by Sandi Tsosie, Mara’s successor, who previously served as Technology Director at Beverly Hills Unified School District. Tsosie brings first-hand experience with Veracity, having successfully rolled out the platform in her prior role.
“Having already implemented Veracity’s TMS in Beverly Hills, I’ve seen the difference it makes in managing the complexities of educational technology,” said Tsosie. “I’m confident that with Veracity, we can continue to build on Gil’s legacy—streamlining our processes, staying compliant, and enabling innovation across all our schools.”
Veracity’s partnership with TUSD marks another milestone in its mission to support education leaders with tools that drive transparency, accountability, and strategic growth in technology programs.
