Challenge
Prior to adopting Veracity’s TMS, Hudson ISD relied on manual tools to manage its technology lifecycle:
- Technology Requests via Google Forms: The process was overly complex and routinely broke down after submission, leaving requests unresolved and stakeholders frustrated.
- Software Tracking in Spreadsheets: Staff had no visibility into which tools were approved or available for use.
- Lack of Renewal Visibility: The administrative team had limited awareness of upcoming contract renewals, resulting in last-minute decisions and missed opportunities to optimize spending.

Solution
In May 2024, Hudson ISD partnered with Veracity to implement its Technology Management System—a centralized platform built to manage requests, approvals, contracts, and visibility across all technology assets.
Since adopting Veracity’s TMS, Hudson ISD has made measurable strides:
- Improved Transparency: By August 2024, in time for the back-to-school season, staff and teachers began accessing a comprehensive product catalog. This provided real-time visibility into vetted, approved technologies available for use.
- Operational Efficiency: The district implemented a standardized workflow to streamline the technology request and approval process, replacing the previous Google Form with a user-friendly, trackable system.
- Proactive Renewal Management : The administrative team began successfully logging contracts and associated costs within Veracity TMS, gaining clarity into renewal cycles and budgeting needs.

As Hudson ISD prepares for the 2025–2026 school year, the team is energized by the progress made and is committed to building on these early successes.
