Veracity’s Verification awarded Lumio its highest ranking achievable in the categories of Accessibility and Student Engagement.

Lumio scored 5 out of a maximum score of 5 in Accessibility with Veracity Guardians highlighting the integration with Microsoft’s Immersive Reader providing many options to support reading skills development, providing multi-sensory tools to help students read, and helping all students build reading comprehension and confidence in their skills. The ability to change languages on the platform through simply adjusting web browser settings, and the translation features within Immersive Reader was also highly recognized. Lastly, the ability to record audio content and embed videos for learners who require those modes of communication topped the educators’ scorecard.
In addition, Lumio ranked highest in Student Engagement across all digital lesson solutions currently verified in Veracity’s Marketplace. Guardians noted students needed minimal support getting started with Lumio, teachers have access to a variety of pre-built lessons and unique and engaging games, and content is visually engaging while not overwhelming to the student. Teachers have a variety of options to engage students in active learning, as well as to get insight to that learning.
